Reflection
In this module, I have learnt a lot of principles that is important in a good design. After learning this module I noticed that I started to subconsciously use the principles I've in my design. I get to learn about where I can best apply the principles on different design. I enjoyed doing the projects in this module, the one that I personally liked was the self portrait as I get to express myself and put my feelings into the artwork. The biggest struggle I had was to show my progress each week, it is nice but at the same time stressful as I kept getting nervous on how much I should show and anxious that my progress is slower than others but I eventually solve this problem by planning out my time properly and checking with my classmates on what I need to finish by the next class so it was all good in the end. The fact that the class is online means that sometimes it get a bit boring so I wished that the class was physical. I think Dr Yip Jinchi is a very amazing and encouraging lecturer who teaches this module excellently. Overall, my experience in Design Principles has been a good one and I will definitely carry this knowledge with me when I work on the other modules in the future.
